Dr Gabriele Mayer was Diaconal Minister of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Württemberg, Germany. She is Head of the Intercultural Learning Unit and Gender Desk at EMS, Germany.
Dr Bernhard Dinkelaker is Retired Minister of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Württemberg, Germany. From 1996 to 2012 he was EMS General Secretary and visiting lecturer at theological colleges in Cameroon and India.
Together they made the book Reading the Bible through the Eyes of Another, a cross-cultural spiritual journey through the EMS community of 28 churches and mission organisations around the world, a reflection on challenging experiences in Bible reading together.
